Restorative Practices

Our Restorative Practices Training Programs provide an intentional framework for guiding families, organizations, schools, and communities toward identifying and achieving meaningful goals. Each program is customized to meet the specific needs of the group.

Our offerings capitalize on each individual's value as an essential component of the whole system's well-being. We utilize communication tools to enhance connectivity, remove barriers, and establish safe, supportive relationships conducive to optimal learning.

We work with models that consider developmental stages, human nature, and trauma, and we recognize that conflict is a natural part of the evolution of an individual, group, or system.

Our Restorative Practices Training Programs include:

  • Supportive Communication Models: Some conversations harm; others heal. This training model addresses life-span developmental stages and looks at the optimum support necessary to address challenges and trauma. We seek to discover, acknowledge, support, and sustain what is meaningful to each individual that makes up a system.

  • Council Circles: Council Circles are tools for home-life, work-life, and school-wide communities to build positive relationships through social and emotional, and inquiry-based learning techniques. The Circles help organizations improve their understanding and intentions of their members so that participants can learn and grow by hearing from all perspectives. Using Council Circles, we guide groups toward cultivating inspired, engaged, and compassionate communities committed to achieving their full potential.

  • Restorative Circles: Restorative Circles are used in times of conflict to repair harm and restore peace. Based on Restorative Justice Practices, Restorative Circles are an evidence-based approach to reducing crime, violence, and bullying while restoring positive relationships and strengthening leadership.
